farmers and revolutionaries. The land is known for its
cultivation and its people for struggling and fighting for
rights from pre independence till date. They are known for the sacrifices they have been doing for the welfare of the
society. It is due to their scarification that urbanization
came to exist and lakhs of people are able to get Shelter and Livelihood to lead their
life
The increasing urbanization has also increased the threat of rise in urban waste that has been the cause of concern among everyone. The Ulwe node is one such place with a lot of filth spread
around and thus has been witnessing a rise in various illness. The monument has been created with the objective to pass on the message that not every waste is waste. Instead, a lot can be
transformed into artistic sculptures and or products. The monument also marks the history of the Raigad district; the land of agriculture.
