Some advice on buying a bed from Romy Singh of Rs Beds
Q: What sort of bed should I buy if I havea bad back?
Many people believe that a hard bed isgood if you have a bad back, but recentresearch suggests that this is notnecessarily the case and could cause moredamage. A supportive and comfortablemattress is the best option – irrespective ofthe type of construction that it is. Referenceto beds being 'orthopaedic' does not meanthat the bed has been medically assessed– it is simply a term loosely applied bymanufacturers for models that are extrafirm!
Q: What sort of bed is best for peoplesuffering from asthma or other allergicreactions?
Over time, almost all beds will attract housedust mites, whose droppings are highlyallergenic. Regular cleaning, airing and theuse of protective covers will reduce theeffect. Some manufacturers now use anti-dustmite treated fabrics. Always check with themanufacturer for information on thematerials and construction of the bed if youhave an allergy.
Q: What should I pay for a goodmattress?
Prices vary widely from under £100 toseveral thousand pounds. As a generalrule, you get what you pay for. Rememberthat, assuming a lifespan of 10 years, every£100 that you spend represents aninvestment of just 3p a night! A bargain bedis not a bargain if you don't sleep well onit...

Your fortune for September 2014Aries - (Mar 21 - Apr 19)Communications, travel, paperwork are emphasized this month. These continue to bringhappy social contacts for you through the month. This is not a good time to invest as theresults would be not as expected. But earning and spending money are lucky for all youArians. Go on and indulge yourself.
Taurus - (Apr 20 - May 20)Some investments in the real estate sector shall give you a windfall. You're dynamic andcharismatic now, especially for the starting of the month. But indecision or mistakesimpede romance, speculation, creative ventures, a vacation, children's interest. Do notinterfere too much into the personal lives of your loved ones as it might hamper long-lasting relationships.

Cancer - (Jun 22 – July 22)This month a subtle unease about your financial or sexual situation can tempt you to leapinto an investment endeavour. Wait until the end of the month to decide to change your life, chase sex, or invest. Until then, focus directly on ambition. You stand to gain from overseasestablishments. Children bring in name and fame for you. There would be good rapport withfriends and well-wishers for this month.
Leo - (July 23 - Aug 22)You return to a former career role or project now for this month. If you're a parent, yourtasks seem like deja-vu. Take this in stride and there's something good in it. In general aneventful month awaits you.
Virgo - (Aug 23 - Sep 22)Now through the month don't start new legal, educational, far travel, or similar projects. Stickwith the old, former, or on-going ventures only.
