Sunday Adult Education
The class is viewing and discussing a Great Courses © DVD series
“Reading Biblical Literature: Genesis to Revelation.” The lecturer
is Craig R. Koster, Ph.D., Professor of New Testament at Luther
Seminary. This series is close captioned, the sub titles enhancing
comprehension of the lectures.
This Sunday, November 3: The lecture topic is “Abraham, Sarah, and the Promise,” covering
Genesis 11:31-12:10; 16:1-17:22; 18:1-16; 21:1-21: and 22:1-19.
Next Sunday, November 10: “Jacob, Joseph, and Reconciliation,” the time and traditions of
the Patriarchs and Joseph is the topic for this lecture. This covers Genesis 24; 25:19-32;
27-29; 30:22-31, 42; 32:22-30; 33; 35:1-20, 27-29; and Genesis 37; 39-46:1-7; 49;
50:1—6, 22-26; Joshua 24:32.
The class meets after worship at 11:30 in room 4. Everyone from 16 to 66 plus is welcome.

Our new Little Pantry is up and running,
thanks to Wes Kleppe, grandson John Werth and the group of in-
stallers (John Bacon, Jim Kaniecki and
Doug Fox). There is a box in the foyer for
donated items, and a list on the side with suggested products (also listed below).
This is one more outreach to our
community.

In keeping with PPC’s Thanksgiv-ing tradition, the Deacons will be providing the Penfield Food Shelf
with 15 turkeys this year. After worship service on Sunday,
November 10 and November 17, the Deacons will be collecting
donations toward the purchase of the turkeys. The turkeys will be purchased from Wegmans and delivered to the Penfield Food
Shelf on November 24.
Knit Wits will have their knitted
items on display in the foyer on
Sunday, November 10. These items
will then be donated to Meals on
Wheels, Cameron Ministries and the
Newark Hospital Maternity Ward.
Be sure to stop and see what they
have been making!
Pie order forms will also be available in the foyer. Please turn in payment and the order form
(bottom portion only) to Brenda in the office NO LATER THAN SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17.
