Gladstone has natural protection from weather so minimal disruptions

Reasonable road and rail infrastructure in place

Current assets capable of ~ 150 million tonnes per annum (dependant on vessel mix)

Port Alma and Bundaberg - small niche ports with capability for smaller vessels

Natural deep water harbour capable of handling cape size vessels and bulk and smaller cargoes

Capacity to expand to ~300 million tonnes over time if required

GLADSTONE GREEN HYDROGEN INDUSTRY• Known Green H2 Proponents:

Sumitomo Hydrogen Utility (H2U)

• Sumitomo (Japan):

Looking to establish a Pilot Plant in Gladstone Pre-feasibility Study being undertaken by KPMG Hydrogen off-take customers required GPC and GRC potential support

Hydrogen light vehicles (e.g. Hyundai NEXO) Heavy Vehicles fitted with a hydrogen based

diesel reduction system Garbage TrucksEarthmoving equipment

• Longer view is to facilitate the establishment of a large Green Hydrogen/Ammonia industry in the Gladstone region ~180,000 tonnes of liquid ammonia is imported

through Gladstone per annum

• Consideration is to be given to the establishment of a Gladstone Hydrogen Working Group

PORT ACCESS - ROAD TRAIN TYPE 1 ACCESS

• Central Queensland Link to Port of Gladstone

• Working Group set up to initiate economic infrastructure development within the Central Queensland Region

• Strategic Priorities:• Gladstone Port Access Road

Extension• Road upgrades for the CQ Region

PORT ACCESS ROAD STAGE 2

• Extension of the Port Access Road from Glenlyon Intersection to Blain Drive

• Purpose to remove Heavy Vehicle Traffic accessing and egressing the Port Central

• Current preferred option for a “grade separation” over Glenlyon Road and following the railcorridor to Blain Drive

• Facilitating the export of additional coal from new and existing mines• Facilitating new petroleum and chemical product import facilities at Fisherman’s Landing• Promoting increased trade for the Port of Bundaberg by attracting and facilitating new

industry establishments in the Bundaberg Port Precinct• Facilitating growth in defence and explosive industry imports through the Port of

Rockhampton• Focus on Hydrogen Pilot Plants in the CQ area

• Community Investment –$2.8M Y/E 2018 was invested in Gladstone, Bundaberg and Rockhampton to fund community projects

• Apprentices and Trainees for 2019- 47 Apprentices and Trainees

• $2.9M pa to maintain parklands• Botanic to Bridge – Over $395,000 to local

schools & community beneficiary groups over last 9 years

• $2M Partnership with Rockhampton Council to site and build new boat ramp facilities in Port Alma area

EAST SHORES STAGE 1B CONCEPT

• East Shores Stage 1B detailed design in progress

• Incorporates ferry transfer pontoon with pool, café, barbeque facilities, fitness area and cruise interface

• Cost ~$30M

• Focus on local employment opportunities

• Planned completion end of 2019
