Giving BackThe Sure Community Foundation in Jersey has made more than £25,000 in donations since its inception in 2017. During these unprecedented times the Sure Community Foundation has committed to supporting even more local charities and is working hard to help those more in need while the global Coronavirus pandemic continues to cause uncertainty in our community.
We recognise that many charities and local community groups rely solely on donations and unpaid volunteers so we try and support as many of them as we can.
Our assistance sometimes comes in the form of a sponsorship deal, a one-off donation or assisting with specific telecommunications needs.
Prosperity DayAlthough, we are currently uncertain
whether Prosperity Day will be able to take
place this year, Sure is proud to be once
again supporting the event.
Prosperity 24/7, the company behind the
event, are using the day to support Philip’s
Footprints and the Animal Shelter.
The Philip’s Footprints charity helps to
support bereaved parents after the loss of
a baby or child, and they invest in projects
that make pregnancies safer, such as
antenatal training, equipment and
education.
.
The Animal Shelter works hard to help
prevent cruelty to animals, and to provide
much-needed help for sick, lost and
unwanted animals in Jersey. Find out

Cyber Security Educational PacksKeeping young people safe online has
never been more crucial. With the
hundreds of apps and sites that children
have access to it’s becoming increasingly
hard to know where dangers lie. That’s why
one of our Jersey employees, Chris Brown
has been teaching cybersecurity
awareness training at a primary school in
his own time. He has previously
self-funded the learning material used for
the training at a cost of £250 per course,
with each course covering three lessons
for up to thirty children. But this year Sure
would like to support all the amazing work
he is doing so we have donated £500
towards educational packs and training
sessions for when the training resumes.
These are both worthy causes and the Sure Foundation has agreed to support them with a donation of £1,000
