purchase in front of the office in the foyer. The cost is $5
each. The Little Blue Book for Advent & Christmas
Season, cost $2 each and the 2017 Holy Family Church
Calendars are available at a cost of $2 each
Lectors - Please pick up your personalized missal at the
'Mass Ministry Table' in the foyer (by east entrance door.)
Music Groups - Please pick up your new missals,
available for you in the music area. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
New Collection Envelopes for 2017 will be issued in
early December.
NOW is the time to let us know if you want to make
changes in the way you make your donations. As a
parishioner you have the option of receiving envelopes if
you make regular donations, or you may make your
contributions once a month through our Pre-Authorized
Payment Plan. Pre- Authorization Payment forms are
available at the Ambassadors’ Kiosk. Either way you
receive a set of envelopes with a number unique to its user.
Anyone who makes donations either of these two methods
receives a tax-receipt. If you do not already have
envelopes and wish to use them in 2017, please sign up at
the Kiosk.

share with us someone who serves! HERE IS THIS WEEK’S PRAYER REQUESTS FOR OUR CHILDREN, YOUTH and YOUTH MINISTRIES
Prayer is a gift that everyone can give that never expires and is always needed! With the support of prayer our ministries and
lives are infused with hope and strength. We need you. We need your prayer support.
1. Please pray for Source (a night of fellowship, Eucharistic Adoration, good food and music for High School students and Young
Adults) that it would be undeniable that God is present and that these young people would learn how to pray and be in community.
2. Please pray for Holy Family’s EDGE Leadership Team that we would grow and be united as a team, grow our leadership skills and
come to understand what it means to be a humble leader.
3. Please pray for our Elementary and High School Teachers that they would be encouraged and strengthened in times of busyness and
that they would see Christ in their students and that their students would see Christ in them.

Pilgrims in a fundraiser (which Brandi, our Youth Minister, is a part of)? Holy Family is proud to be hosting a Christmas show with
music, drama and dance! WHAT: An evening filed with music, drama and dance to prepare our hearts for Christmas. WHEN: Friday, December 2 and Saturday,
December 3. TIME: 7:00 PM WHO: The whole family! WHERE: Holy Family Parish HOW MUCH: $10/ ticket or family rate of
$30/family WHY: Because the young people of our diocese have gifts to share and are fundraising for World Youth Day. Join the World Youth Day pilgrims in this celebration of Christmas and please support them in this fundraiser! You can buy
your tickets from the Holy Family Office.
“Variety Night”; The Christmas Edition presented by the Archdiocese of Regina World Youth Day pilgrims on Dec.
2 & 3rd
at Holy Family Parish. This show entitled “The Road to Bethlehem” will take participants on an entertaining, but
still prayerful journey towards Christmas. Come enjoy an evening of music, dance, drama and more as we prepare our
hearts for Christmas. Tickets are $10 and are available at Resurrection Parish and Holy Family Parish offices. Show starts at
7:15 each evening.

DECEMBER 12 -16: Holy Family Parish CWL is scheduled to provide volunteers for the Marian Centre. Two volunteers are
needed for each day: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM. Anyone from the Parish is welcome to
volunteer. Please sign up at a table in the foyer or call Ginette at 306-543-8029 if you are interested in volunteering.
Did you know: Father Carlos Jimenez will be marking his 25th
Anniversary of Ordination on Wednesday, December 7, 2016? Please
take the opportunity to wish him a happy anniversary. A Parish-Wide Celebration to mark this occasion will take place beginning with 5
PM Mass, concelebrated with Archbishop Donald Bolen on Saturday January 21, 2017. There will be a pot-luck supper for all
Parishioners following Mass. Please refer to January 2017 Bulletin for complete details on how you may participate.
NON-PARISH EVENTS DECEMBER 2-4: This year, we invite you to share A Briercrest Christmas presents: A Christmas Prodigal with your congregation.
Featuring a full, original dramatic musical with soloists, mass choir, and orchestra, A Christmas Prodigal is one of the largest Christmas
productions in Saskatchewan. On December 2-4 join us for the production, as well as a traditional turkey dinner on Friday and Saturday
evening, and a Christmas Craft Sale taking place throughout the weekend. DECEMBER 2-3: Everyone is invited Friday, December 2

rd, 2016 for first Friday/first Saturday all-night
vigil in honor of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The vigil is held at St. Mary’s Church, 2026 Winnipeg St.,
Regina and begins with Mass at 7:30 P.M. followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and ending with Mass at 7:30 A.M. on

The Holy Family K of C would like to announce the 10th Annual Gala Fundraiser will be held Feb 24, 2017 so please mark your
calendars. Tickets are available at the Church office (306) 949-7678 and will be $50 each until Jan 8th then they will go up to $60 each

Holy Family Parish is making Christmas Hampers this Advent season!
Please pick a Christmas ornament from the Advent Giving Tree in the foyer.
If you have a Christmas ornament from the Advent Giving Tree for a specific item:
- Please tape the ornament on the item when you bring it the parish this way we know which hamper
the item goes into.
- For the non-food related ornaments: this is a gift to individual person. This gift should be around
$20.00 - $25.00 and please return the gift unwrapped to the parish. - For the Non- Perishable food items and the gift to an individual person please return the item by
Sunday Dec 18th and place it under the tree in the foyer.
- For Perishable items (e.g. buns, potatoes, oranges) please return it the weekend of Dec 17 & 18th only
Didn’t get an ornament from the Advent Giving Tree? No problem just bring Non - Perishable item to the
parish and place it under the Advent Giving Tree before Sunday Dec 18th @ 1:00 pm and we will distribute
those items between the hampers. Suggestions (but not limited to):
- pancake mix & syrup - Case of canned soup - Cereal - Pudding
- Pasta - Pasta sauce - Jam - Hot Chocolate
- Mac and cheese - Jell-O - Cake mix - etc.
- Dish soap - Bubble bath - Pickles
