WANTED: Thinkers, explorers and hidden gem-seekers—for an educational journey that can take you anywhere.

The LSU Museum of Natural Science and the College of Science invite girls in grades 4 through 6 with an interest in science to apply for Girls Day at the Museum 2020. This activity includes a fun-flled day exploring the museum collections, snacking and chatting with women scientists at LSU, and participating in exciting hands-on science activities.

Who’s eligible to participate? Girls in 4th through 6th grade with an interest in science.

Application Deadline: Friday, January 24, 2020

How do I apply? Complete the 2019 Girls Day at the Museum application form (attached).

The application requires a one-page essay about why you are interested in science and how you think science can change the world, a participant authorization form, and a photography and social media release form that must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian.
