THE GIRAFFE AND THE PELLY AND ME

HOW BILLY KNOWS THE GRUBBERNot far from where he lives there is old empty wooden house standing all by itself on the side of the road.The grubber is an old candy store. Billy dreams of buying it and selling candies to children.The candy store was for sail.

BILLY’S SURPRISE!

Next day, he saw in the window of the grubber a note what said “SOLD”. Then Billy read this note a big bathtub came sailing out through one of the second-floor windows and crashed right on to the middle of the road.

A few moments later a lot of things still on it came flying out of the same window and landed just beside the bathtub.

Billy could not believe what I saw. Rarely had a surprise as well.

The next day Billy was found a note in the window informing that a new business that was engaged in cleaning windows without having to use stairs.

Suddenly opened a window and left a giraffe, which told who they were and what they did. Then he opened another window and there was a pelican. He also appeared a monkey. The monkey told him they had a very special way to clean windows: there is a giraffe with an extending neck instead of a ladder, a pelican who holds the wash water in his pouch and a monkey sitting on the giraffe and washing the windows.

They haven’t washed any windows yet and they are very hungry.

HOW BILLY KNOWN THE ANIMALS

To speak at the same level, the monkey and the giraffe called "jump to the pelican's mouth. " Billy is scared and said no. The pelican says do not be afraid and jump, it will not close its mouth because it will can’t. Billy asks why not. The pelican tells him that its mouth is magic. When something has inside the beak, it’s small and can’t close

Finally Billy jumps and pelican brings up the window with the giraffe and the monkey.

WHEN BILLY JUMPS IN THE PELICAN’S MOUTH

The Duke chauffeur appears suddenly and reads a note.

WHEN THE CHAUFFEUR DUKE’S HAMPSHIRE ARRIVES

The Duke invites the giraffe, monkey and pelican to live with him and become his official windows washers.

The Duke has some special presents for his new friends: for the giraffe, flower trees to eat; for the monkey, walnut trees; and for the pelican, salmon stream.

Then he asks to Billy what he desires. Billy would to open the old Grubber Store again and sell candies.

HAPPY ENDING

The Duke makes a present to Billy and renovates the store. Billy at the open day gives candies to the children for free. They all say goodbye and Billy promises to visit new friends soon.
