Introducing the Gen2 Range from

Aqualuma.

Gen2 has been introduced across the entire range of Aqualuma products.

Gen2 improvements:

1: We now produce twice the light we had with the original range.

2: Improved more efficient and reliable driver.

3: New specially formulated stronger polymer housing.

4: Housing is resistant to all chemicals including acetone.

5: Housing can be installed using any sealant.

6: Anti growth agent impregnated in to housing

7: New improved rear gland.

8: New three year warranty will apply to the 1,3 and 6 Series Gen2 range

Improvements Explained

1: The Gen2 light generator has new LED technology and is more reliable than

our already reliable Gen1 LED’s; they have a higher junction temperature and

produce more than twice the light.

2: The Gen 2 driver is a highly efficient German made driver and is smaller and

runs cooler giving longer life and more reliability.

3: Our new housing is made from a specially formulated polymer with a tint for

higher clarity; this new formula is stronger and more flexible than the original

Gen 1 housing. This formula is also resistant to all chemicals therefore

allowing the Gen2 housing to be fitted with any sealant you choose and

eliminating the need for a specific sealer.

4: Another feature of the Gen2 housing is the introduction of an additive at the

moulding stage to minimise growth from forming on the lens.

5: The Gen2 has a new rear gland, this has a tighter grip on the cable and a coil

tail to avoid any chance of the cable pinching or crushing.

Tested and certified to meet the International Maritime Organisation resolution A635 (16) – recommendation on Improved Fire Test Procedures for Surface Flammability as amended by Resolution MSC 61(67)

Acoustica® VyBar® is a rigid laminate noise barrier which has been specifically engineered to absorb and control noise and vibration in main and auxiliary engine enclosures and to line partition walls and bulkheads in marine vessels.

VyBar® has a unique material construction which unlike many other insulation materials results in high sound absorption coupled with resilience and compression loading capability.

VyBar® Marine has been tested by the CSIRO and certified that it meets the requirements for low flame spread of a bulkhead, wall and ceiling lining as specified by the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea, 1974 and the technical requirements of the amended IMO resolution MSC61 (67), Annex2, section 2.2

VyBar® Marine effectively treats the often combined phenomena of vibrations, sound transmission and sound reverberation encountered with most noise problems.

Frigomar

Air Conditioning / Refrigeration / Ice Makers

Ice maker units can either be integrated in the custom refrigeration units or as stand alone machines. These compact stand alone ice makers are relatively much smaller than our competitors systems and yet through the latest technology and design these small units produce more ice than much larger and noisier units.

The custom refrigeration systems are all in 316 stainless (not 304) and can have solid or glass doors (see through). The same units can also be supplied as climate controlled wine storage units with custom hand made timber bottle racking. Inside the options are endless and can include slide out deep freeze drawers. One important feature of the Frigomar range is the solid stainless locking handle which is sturdy and will hold doors closed even in extreme conditions.

Air conditioning compressors are designed to be ultra compact and self contained. They come in a fully sealed white steel framed cabinet that can easily be stacked in the engine room to reduce space requirements. They have removable side panels all the way round to make maintenance easy. They are also supplied with latest technology sound proofing and R410A gas which delivers 50% higher efficiency compared to R407C and R22 units. Frigomar is

the only marine manufacturer who offers this solution as standard, and it results in 50% less power consumption, 50% less noise, and 50% smaller compressors for the same output
