CARNAUBAA hard wax obtained from the leaves of the Carnauba palm tree. This wax is emulsifiable and yields a glossy, durable, buffable film when properly formulated in aqueous floor waxes. Carnauba has generally been replaced in floor finishes by synthetic polymeric waxes, which are more durable and allow for more flexibility in formulation.
