story
The ALISS Engine isn’t just something to put data in. It’s intended to support getting data back out again, and helping it pop up all over. This story is about some work we’ve been doing with GPs and their local networks, and our library colleagues, while we try out novel ways of making ALISS data available wherever people want it to be.

ALISS found them on the web

And indexed them on the Engine

Meanwhile, how about getting info back out of the Engine? A javascript-based ‘widget’ enables queries on the Engine to be run from any website…
![Page 9: Getting data back out of the engine cartoon](https://reader033.vdocuments.site/reader033/viewer/2022060110/5560cb55d8b42a13088b4af8/html5/thumbnails/9.jpg)
…The widget will underpin the pages that these wire-frames preview here
