Get to Know the Samsung Galaxy S® II

You can configure Email for most accounts in just a few steps. Configuring the first email account:

From the Home screen, touch Applications > Email.

Touch Email address to enter your email address, then touch Password or touch Next to enter your password. Touch the Manual Setup option

Review the Remote securityadministration pop-up. Touch OK to continue.

Touch the Exchange account option.

If desired, touch the Account Name box to enter a name for your email account (i.e. Corporate Email, Personal Email).

Touch the Domain\Username box and add the domain name if needed. Touch the Exchange Server box and confirm/correct the Exchange Server name. Check appropriate SSL setting. Note: Contact your Exchange Server Administrator for this information if you do not have it.

Review warnings and touch Activate to complete account setup.

1. From the Home screen, touch Applications > Email.

2. Touch the mail account name at the top of the screen.

3. Touch Menu > Add account.

6. Manually enter information for a POP3 account.

8. Enter a name for the account and a name for the account owner.

5. If the server settings cannot be automatically found you may need to set up the account manually.

Note: Customers may have to contact their email provider for the settings that are needed for either POP3 or IMAP accounts. Yahoo! customers need to either contact Yahoo! to set up a Yahoo! Mail Plus account or download the free Yahoo! Mail application from Android Market.

4. Touch the Email address field to enter your email address. Touch the Password field or touch Next to enter your password. Touch Next to connect to the server and set up your account automatically.

Note: If the device is able to automatically download server settings jump to Step 7.

From the Home screen,touch Email.

Touch the Subject field to enter a subject.

Select the picture to add a file to the message.

Touch the Compose icon in the upper right of the screen.

Touch the text field to enter the text of your email. Touch Attach to add an attachment.

Select the image resize value. Touch Send to send the message.

Touch the To field to enter recipients.

Select one of the options for choosing an attachment. For this example select Pictures.
