MISSIONTHE ARTISTS FORUM, INC. (AF) is a 501(c)3 non-profit multi-arts service organization specializing in events, juried competitions, and media for artists.

We produce an array of programs that foster networking, collaboration, exposure, critical dialogue, and information exchange among the artistic community and our members: musicians, singers, writers, actors, dancers, visual artists, independent filmmakers, industry professionals, and art enthusiasts.

AF’s constituency consists of artists of all genres - both males and females of multiple ethnicities, from 18 to 80 years of age. The median age range for both sexes is between 25 to 50 years old.

Our competitions, panels, and networking events help bridge the gap between the creative and corporate worlds while providing relaxed atmospheres to make and sustain supportive and collaborative contacts. Though New York based, AF supports a global art community. Anyone can participate with AF worldwide by attending our live or ‘virtual’ events such as our juried competitions and online magazine.

VISIONAF serves the needs of the artistic community by producing affordable, quality programming designed to increase the business acumen of the underexposed artist. We provide the emerging artist accessible avenues to display their work and discuss critical, career-influencing topics for the purpose of protecting artists' rights and works. Additionally, our health initiatives help underinsured artists with pro-active check-ups.

SERVICE AGENDA AF's programming is designed to increase the business, legal, and technical savvy of the emerging artist. Our panels focus on career-influencing topics such as the latest techniques in marketing, copyright and intellectual property issues, agent dealings, internet distribution and additional concerns with new technologies - all of which enable artists to keep abreast of current trends and provide direct access to industry professionals for additional counsel.

Along with programs developed to expose an artists' work and ideas, AF further expands opportunities for artists by providing relaxed networking atmospheres conducive for business building. Finally, AF supports the practical, day-to-day needs of the artistic community by facilitating proactive mental and physical health initiatives for underinsured artists.

We encourage all arts professionals to participate in AF programs to better address the needs of the under-served artist and for the enhancement of the community at-large.
