This Holy Journey of Amarnath Yatra Darshan is very oldest and difficult in Indian History. Every year during month of June and August, when the snow blocked paths of the Baba Amarnath cave are opened, the shrine is visited by lakhs of Hindu devotees from all across the world.

of the holiest place of Hindu religion situated at an altitude of 12756 ft in Baltal Amarnath Trek, Forest Block, Anantnag, Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. It is dedicated to God Shiva and is believed to be over 5000 years old as per Hindu mythology.

How to ReachThere is tow major route to available

to reach the Amarnath Cave1) JAMMU – PAHALGAM – HOLY CAVE.

(Traditional Route) Jammu to Pahalgam (315 km) – The

distance between Jammu to Pahalgam can be covered by Taxi/Buses. These are  available at Tourist Reception Centre, J & K Govt., Raghunath Bazaar only early in the morning. But one can also come to Srinagar by air and then move to Pahalgam by road

2) Jammu – Baltal – Holy cave (414km) Jammu – Baltal (400km). –

The distance between Jammu and Baltal can be covered by Taxis / Buses available at Tourist Reception Centre, J & K / bus stand or one can come to Srinagar by air and then reach Baltal by road.

Amarnath Yatra by Helicopter

Amarnath Yatra  Helicopter Tickets 2016 are available from  two Routes

● 1. Neelgrath/ Baltal Route ● 2. Pahalgam Route  Without Helicopter tickets

Journey of Amarnath Yatra is Not so easy. So if You have money and want comfort then you must select helicopter Mode of Journey for the Amarnath Yatra.

The Sheshnag Lake is another popular attraction of Amarnath. It lies 27 km away from Pahalgam. This lake is situated at a height of approximately 3658 m above sea level due to which it remains covered in ice till June.

Amarnath Yatra 2016 itinerary

Day 01 - Amarnath Yatra 2016: arrival in Srinagar

When you arrive at Srinagar airport or railway station we will find you and pick you up. Then it will take you to Sonmarg. When you arrive, you can register and then either rest and relax for the rest of time, or if you feel like it, you can visit the Thajiwas glacier. Stay at the hotel overnight.

Day 02 - Amarnath Yatra 2016: tourism

Sonmarg, Baltal and Amarnath The next day begins early after breakfast and a

small drive of around 15 kilometers to reach the helipad at Baltal. You can then take a small helicopter ride from Baltal to Panchtarni and back. When you reach Panchtarni, you can take a walk or hire a pony to a spot that is called the holy cave. After a stopover to the cave, you can come back by helicopter and then come by car to Srinagar. You can spend the sunset at the houseboat and then have dinner and stay at Srinagar.

Day 03 - Amarnath Yatra 2016: Srinagar

Sightseeing Breakfast Post, we go to Nishat Garden,

which is also known as the "Garden of Pleasure '. Then we move to the Shalimar Garden, which is an epithet of love. It was built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir in love his wife Noor Jehan. Then visit the Pari Mahal, the Shankaracharya Temple. the walk at night on Dal lake Shikara is also a part of the day. Dinner and overnight in Srinagar.

04 - Amarnath Yatra 2016: Srinagar-out

The last day can check out the boathouse or from the hotel after breakfast, and we will separate the airport from where you can go home with a lot of pleasant memories.
