ListeningIt is more important to listen well than speakingBe good listeners. Make sure that you are in sync with the person who you are listening to. Never cut in between the conversation. 

Wait till the other person finishes what he wants to say. Don't say “I know it” before you listen to him/her completely. If you completely listen to what the other person is telling, you will definitely gain at the end of conversation, if not anything more, at least the good will of that person. So next time when you want to say something he will respond with good intention or at least hear your view.

We all have lot of time. If we cut a conversation too early due to some reason then we are losing some thing which we may never realize. Please listen patiently to whatever the other person has to say. Then you can take a decision as to what suits you in the best possible way.

So you are making your life simpler by knowing many things just by listening. Try it. It will work wonders.

Speaking

Do not use harsh or arrogant language. 

Don't impose your thoughts on others too much. 

If somebody is not willing to hear at a particular moment then stop telling the things.

Please be sensitive to your surroundings and people.

Great people are great because of no special skills but have the essential skills and act normally under any condition.

There are hundreds of styles of talking which are good and effective. Choose the one that suits you.

If you cannot decide then go back to the previous task. “Listen well” Observe and meditate on how others speak.

Be truthful. But don't be harsh in your words just because you want to tell the truth. For example: If one of your friends talks something which you do not like, then don't tell him not to speak ,convey to him slowly that you are not comfortable on such topics.

Speaking To The Opposite SexThere is an equal curiosity in both men and women to speak to each other. 

At the same time you will have some inhibitions to start a conversation. Reasons: Fear , Lack of self confidence

Solutions:Don’t be too friendly or too alien to the opposite sex. Be fair and kind with the opposite sex. Sit straight and don’t forget to give proper gestures.

ActionsToo much of talking and no action make the life boringEvery Task is a learning. Do not forget to learn lessons from success and failure.

Money is not everything but is certainly a thing, so please use it judiciously. 

Buy a good news paper every day - The Hindu, Deccan Herald etc. If you cannot buy it, visit the nearest library.

Try reading the Editorial, this will have good usage of English. It will look boring initially but later you will enjoy.

Look at some knowledgeable articles. Buy one good book per month.

Read all forms of literature.

It will give you new outlook to life and help you in handling the things in a better way.

For example: People from arts background take some time to read economics or science books.

The people of science and commerce backgrounds can try out books on sociology which are COOL and fun to read. The “Discovery of India” by JawaharLal Nehru is a book that covers all topics namely arts, science and commerce of India.

JudgmentDon’t judge anything too early. 

Don’t panic in any situation, be it an interview or some thing unpleasant.

In fact it is better not to judge some one or something based on a certain situation. 

Suppose you go to an interview and you are rejected in it then don’t blame the interviewer directly but have a discussion with yourself first, analyze what you did and what you should have done. If you are clueless then talk to your friends and teachers. Speak appropriately. Honesty and BehaviourBe honest in putting efforts and communicate to your employer clearly about your strengths. 

Work on any suggestion for an improvement in behaviour.Do not get angry when someone says “You are not good”. Ask him what you can do to be GOOD

No body is born perfect does not mean that we can never become perfect. 

Be happy with what you have, but do not lose the urge to do more. Respect everyone , young and old alike. 

Love the nature and surroundings that you are part of. Don’t yield to momentary urges.

Job Satisfaction And HabitsTake up every job as a challenge.

Don’t categorize the work as interesting or boring. Keep working till you the goal.

Create a good atmosphere around yourself , cheer every one as much as you can.

Some more habits Do not crib about salaries too much

Talk positive and good words.

Meditate at least 10minutes as to what you did and what you are going to do on the day.

Make a habit of keeping a small diary and write anything in it. :) I mean it. Write anything you did, good, bad , cool and not so cool things.

Remember that nothing is precious than life itself, stay away from any form of addiction.
