Germany & France Mobile Device Satisfaction February 2013
This is one of the largest studies of device satisfaction, measuring 320,000 mobile and tablet users across the US, UK, France, Germany, Japan and Indonesia. The following slides contain data from 20,021 French and 9,116 German mobile users, who were asked how satisfied they are with their mobile on a 10 point scale. All questions were asked through a survey users had taken via the mobile Internet, where their mobile device is automatically identified. The question was sent to our panel of respondents and only results that are statistically significant, are included in the presentation.

Summary
France
• In France the iPhone 4S has a higher device satisfaction than the iPhone 5. • On an aggregated level Apple is top for device satisfaction, followed by Samsung who have two
devices ranked in the top 5 for user satisfaction.
Germany • In Germany Samsung Galaxy S 3 Mini takes the top spot for user satisfaction, and Samsung has
four devices in the top 5.
• No Apple devices rank in the top 5 devices for user satisfaction in Germany.

On an aggregated level, Apple comes out the highest for device satisfaction, followed by Samsung. Google comes further down the list.
In France Apple’s iPhone 4S scores a high satisfaction score, than Apple’s iPhone 5.
