Report on our Demo At German Christmas Market in Okauchee
The Okauchee Lion’s Park was the site of a German Christmas Market and holiday festival. “Christmas in Okauchee” took place November 25 through 29.
On Saturday November 28th the German Shepherd Dog Club of Wisconsin put on a demon-
stration of our wonderful breed.
We were then able to walk our dogs among the many imported authentic chalets like those used in the Christmas Markets across Europe. There were vendors selling everything from ornaments to popcorn.
We had a great turnout for our demo. Special thanks to everyone listed below. YOU are what makes this club so special. YOU brought your well behaved companions to this event to show the general public what it is to own a German Shepherd Dog. We brought chairs and never sat down. Such a great crowd of people asking questions and telling us their own “dog stories”.
One of the people running the event commented on how well received our presence was. People just love to pet a dog. The bonus was, they were also were treated to the site of what good training does for a dog, and a human.
Thanks again to all who participated in this event.
To those of you who could not make it, we hope to see you at the next demo.

TRAINING CLASSES NOTE
In case of Bad Weather !
Classes are CANCELLED if the - Temperature is -10 at 7:00 am on
Sunday Morning - or 0 at 5:00 pm on week nights in Waukesha
County Or if there is a WEATHER WARNING
Make sure in cold weather to use the Buddy System - - - BEFORE
you leave someone alone at the club make sure that their car will start.
Best outcome is to wait and leave together!

companion safe.

Adeline M. Scherz Waukesha, Wisconsin
1932 - 2020 (Age 88)
Devoted breeder of German Shepherd dogs, her along with
best friend and business partner, the late Nathalie Lowe, owned
and operated Sher-Lo Shepherds and Pek-In boarding kennels
for many years. Long time member of the GSDC-WI.
Private services were held. Adeline is survived by family and
friends.
She will be missed at the German Shepherd Dog Club of
Wisconsin.
