GTO Future Opportunities

GTO has nearly $800,000 available to support vouchers in its mission areas of EGS,

Small businesses can apply for up to $150,000 awards for a 9‐month Phase I Feasibility or Proof of Concept projects.

The SubTER team developed an extensive R&D plan for advancing technologies within these four core pillars and also identified several areas where new technologies would require

Hydrothermal, Low Temperature, and Systems Analysis. Companies have until November 10 to submit RFAs for round three; round four is expected to be announced early in 2017.

Feasibility studies of large‐scale, low‐temperature deep‐well geothermal systems coupled with advanced direct‐use applications and cascaded surface technologies whose applications will

four core pillars and also identified several areas where new technologies would require additional basic research.

extend the reach of geothermal into geologically distinct parts of the country beyond the western U.S.
