    petroleumreservoir,geothermalandenvironmentalapplications.

    CapabilitiesThegrouphasacombinedexpertiseofover40yearsinthemodelingand

    estimationoforebodies,coaldepositsandhydrocarbonreservoirs,oftenin

    verycomplexgeologicalsettings;thegenerationofthree dimensional

    orebodymodelsasthebasisforoptimalminedesignandscheduling;

    establishingresourcesandreservestogetherwithassociatedconfidence

    limits;andthequantificationofgeologicalandtechnicalriskassociatedwith

    resourceextraction.Wehaveindustrialapplicationsintheseareasonall

    continentsincludingthemodelling,appraisalandevaluationofmanyofthe

    worldsmajororebodiesinAustralasia,Europe,Africa,NorthAmericaand

    SouthAmerica.

    Recentworkhasfocusedonthecharacterisationofrockmassesfor

    environmentalriskanalysisandassessment;formining;andforhotdryrock

    geothermalenergy.Applicationsincluderiskassessmentforthesafestorage

    ofhazardouswastesinundergroundrepositories;predictionofpollutant

    trajectoriesinthesubsurfaceoftheearthandtheirlikelyconsequences;

    assessmentsofcontaminatedland;investigationsintocausesandeffectsof

    contaminationofthenaturalenvironment;theextractionofmineraland

    hydrocarbonresources;andthemodellingoffracturenetworksforenhanced

    geothermalsystems.
