Furniture for life in the garden.The Georgia garden collection is designed to be a part of a beautiful symbiosis with flowers, plants and trees in the garden.

It has been my intention to create furniture that bring romance and joy to the garden. Pieces of furniture that helps create a place in the garden where you can relax and enjoy the summer. We are many people who priori-tize the time in our garden. Both the time alone where we can forget our busy schedules and concentrate on small projects that gives life to the garden, but also the time we enjoy with family and friends.

The inspiration has been the old British colonies and the idea of past times. I imagine the ladies who were wearing big hats and beautiful dresses and men in light summer suits, enjoying their afternoon tea and Pimm’s No. 1. I imagine them sitting in elegant wicker furniture on a porch in the shade of the trees.

Thinking of summer, I see strawberry cakes, barbecues, home grown tomatoes from my greenhouse, all my pots filled with summer flowers and just time to sit and watch the children play in the garden. This is what I have tried to show in this collection.

The furniture are created by the old drawings of the original wicker furniture found in old books and from old postcards. This development has been exciting, chal-lenging and especially fun.

Georgia garden is made of strong and maintenance-free synthetic fibers woven on aluminum frames. This means that the furniture will stay beautiful year after year.

We focus on design and comfort and also take the environment into

account when we choose our raw materials and develop new produc-

tion methods and products.

Sika-Design complies with environmental and labour legislation and de-

mand that our suppliers comply with their legislations within these areas.

Products from Sika-Design are developed and marketed in accordance

with our management system for environment and social responsibil-

ity ISO 14001/2004 and SA8000/2008. Certified by Bureau Veritas

Cushions A cushion is always included for our Georgia garden models. The cushions are fitted with a white polyester fabric, which is washable at 30 degrees. Additional we offer an extra cover for the cushion in a fabric of your choice – see our web-site for our selection of fabrics.

Glass topsFor our woven tables we offer a high quality glass top. The glass top is safety glass in 8 mm thickness.

Colonial teak tableOur teak table will patinate to the color shown in our catalogue after a few weeks outside.
