Ko Samui Ko Samui, Thailand’s second largest island, lies in the Gulf of Thailand off the east coast of the Kra Isthmus.

Big Buddha: This 12 metres tall golden statue of Buddha sits atop a

wide staircase decorated with dragons. At the base of the main

building are many religious offering stands and several graceful golden

statues. (It takes about 70 steps up to the Big Buddha; guests can take

photo of the Big Buddha from the base platform.)

Plai Leam Temple: The tradition of this temple’s art dates back to

centuries ago, it is a living example of the traditional culture and styles

that are still significant in modern Thai religious architecture. The

highlights are the prominent statues of the Goddess of Mercy and the

Happy Buddha.

Chaweng Viewpoint (Photo stop): Scenic drive through Chaweng

main tourist areas and photo stop to capture the natural beauty of the

horizon and the sea from the viewpoint overlooking Chaweng Bay. (It

takes about 30 steps up to the viewpoint; guests can take photo

without going up the steps to viewpoint.)

Hin Ta Hin Yai: The amazing rocks have been shaped over millions of

years by wind and water to resemble the human reproductive organ.

They are set on a beautiful coast lined with gigantic rocks that form

inviting shallow pools in between.

Namuang Waterfall: Surrounded by lush jungle, along the way there

are several stalls selling local snacks and souvenirs. (It takes about 20

stone steps to the waterfall; guests can take photo of the waterfall

without going down the steps to the fall.)

Central Festival Mall: Lifestyle shopping complex on Chaweng beach

road featuring a variety of branded clothes and accessories,

supermarket, open-air food court, restaurants and bars (own expense).

Samui’s Mummified Monk

Namuang Safari Park: Depart from pier by 4 x 4 jeeps, this is a great

opportunity to experience an exciting elephant ride through a tropical

garden. You will then see amazing monkeys at work, as they climb

coconut trees to retrieve coconuts for their handler. Watch a show and

learn what the elephants can do and see a demonstration of cooking

spicy green papaya salad.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant inside the elephant camp.

Kunaram Temple: The body of Samui’s Mummified Monk is displayed

in a seated meditative position. There is minimal sign of decay even

after over 30 years.

Depart from Nathon pier Koh Samui by speedboat with your swimsuits

inside and enjoy the 45 minutes boat ride, heading to Koh Ma island and

explore some of the best beaches in the Gulf of Thailand.

Open Water Snorkel at Koh Ma (from boat): The best place to go

snorkeling in Koh Ma, a small island that is joined by a sandbar that is

often walkable during low tide season. Water is relatively shallow,

while swimming over colourful corals, observing fish and other sea

creatures. After getting over the very shallow section full of sand,

seaweed and sea cucumbers, you can reach the coral area. Bigger

shoals of fish, parrotfish and blue spotted rays can be seen, as well as

smaller sea creatures like nudibranch or Spanish dancer.

Simple Thai Lunch: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on the island.

Chaweng Beach

Please note that coach transfer service (No guide service is available) is

sold ONBOARD ONLY and transfer starts after all shore excursions have

departed. Please ask our shipboard shore excursion team for departure

and return time.

Our coach transfer drop-off and pick-up point will be at the Chaweng

Beach. Guests are free to explore the beach on your own before boarding

the coach at your scheduled time to return to the ship.

Chaweng Beach: Located on Ko Samui's east coast; it is the most

developed area on the island. It attracts many travellers and remains

good value for the money. The beach itself can be accessed through

the hotels. Parallel to the beach, clustered in the middle of the strip,

lays the greatest concentration of restaurants, bars, souvenir shops

and of course, fast food and convenience stores. Central Festival, the

biggest shopping mall, is 200 metres away.

You can enjoy approximately 3 hours of free time at Chaweng.

Important Notes

1. Shore excursion fares are denominated in SGD.

2. Child fare is applicable to those aged 11 or below. Infants aged below 2 come free.

3. Shore excursion tickets are neither refundable nor transferrable after they have been sold.

4. Shore excursions require a minimum number of participating persons and may be cancelled if there are insufficient participants.

5. All shore excursions are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and have a maximum limit of participating persons. To avoid

disappointment, guests are recommended to reserve shore excursions early.

6. Some shore excursions may require long-distance walking. It is recommended that guests should consider their physical

conditions before joining such shore excursions.

7. Please be careful of personal belongings at all times in order to avoid thefts and robberies.

8. Please take extra care and caution when walking inside and outside the ports or during shore excursion in order to avoid

accidents.

9. Please pay attention to hygiene conditions when going outside. Please do not drink nor dine in dirty environments.

10. Shore excursion is operated by the independent local tour operator and ticket is sold by Dream Cruises as an agent for and on

behalf of such tour operators. Dream Cruises (including its officers, employees and affiliates) will not be responsible for the act,

negligence, default or omission of such tour operators and/or any losses or damages suffered by the passenger in relation to

their shore excursion.

11. Tour operator shall have the right to change the itineraries (including, without limitation, place of visit, transportation,

accommodation and meal arrangements) due to operational need, weather conditions and/or safety, comfort or enjoyment of

the guests. Neither Dream Cruises nor the tour operator shall be liable for loss, delay, inconvenience, disappointment or

expenses whatsoever incurred or suffered by the passenger in such circumstances.

12. Dream Cruises (including its officers, employees and affiliates) and tour operator shall not be liable for any loss, damages,

claims, costs and expenses incurred and/or suffered by the passenger in relation to any force majeure events including, without

limitation, war or threat of war, r iot, disaster, acts of Gods (which includes but not limited to adverse weather condition, storm,

tsunami, earthquake and/or typhoon), terrorist activity, fire, technical problem with transport, closure of port, strikes or other

industrial action, act or decision of any government authority and any other events beyond the control of Dream Cruises and

the tour operator.

13. Tour operators reserve the right to refuse the passenger to join shore excursions or cancel shore excursions for the following

several reasons: late guests; safety reasons; immigration and custom clearance; and conditions beyond the control of the tour

operator.

14. Information on this promotional leaflet is correct at the time of print. Dream Cruises reserves the final right to amend and

change any applicable terms and conditions on this promotional leaflet without prior notice. In case of any disputes, the

decision of Dream Cruises shall be final.

15. Dream Cruises will not be held responsible for any activity/transportation in ports of call other than that which is arranged

through the tour desk onboard the vessels of Dream Cruises. Any activity/transportation inside or outside the port area is not

within the control of Dream Cruises.

16. Itineraries and tour prices are subject to change without prior notice. Kindly refer to the final tour information onboard.

17. For guests in wheelchairs, there will be crew members to guide and steady them as they embark for shore excursions, but the

crew members cannot support, carry or lift guests on board the tender for safety reasons. Guests in wheelchairs please wear

appropriate, flat, and securely attached footwear, when embarking and disembarking the tender. If passenger uses a wheelchair

or mobility scooter, please note that passenger or passenger’s travelling companion is responsible for assembling and

disassembling the wheelchair/mobility scooter.

you to obtain your own insurance arrangement before departure.

3) Please note that any claim for illness or injury must be formally lodged with full particulars to our Customer

Service strictly within thirty (30) days from the date of the incident. Claims lodged after the said timeframe shall

be considered as time-barred.
