The tool features various peripherals on-board like Graphic LCD, USB, SD card, Ethernet, etc. Optionally, the user can expand the available peripherals with Add-Ons for meeting a wide variety of project requirements. Genesis is compatible with Plug-Ins that supports various microcontroller architectures like AVR, ARM, PIC and 8051. All peripherals available on-board can be used with any of the mentioned microcontroller architecture by simply replacing the Plug-In. Each Genesis compatible Plug-In comes with demos and source codes for all on-board peripherals to help you getting started.
