I- Welcome Statement:The Department of Phoniatrics welcomes you to the Medical Doctorate’s

degree in Phoniatrics program. As a department we are committed to medical student education and continuously strive to improve your educational experience.This handbook presents information guide and logbook activity of this degree administered by the Phoniatrics department, Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University.

II- Mission Statement:The mission of the Faculty of Medicine, Ain Shams University is

The aim of this degree is to prepare a well-trained knowledgeable phoniatrician capable of diagnosing, managing, and planning correctly for the treatment of communication disorders. In addition to being capable of communicating efficiently with his colleagues, patients, working staff and coping with the advancing scientific progress in the field of phoniatrics.
