It provides a versatile andeconomical way to regulate your steamturbine’s speed, protects the turbineagainst overspeed damage andautomatically sequences startups andshutdowns. The STCA is fullyconfigurable to API611 general purposesteam turbines and is typically integratedinto the train control system using Honeywell’s Control Edge product family. This integration results in improved train control system availability and reliability as well as in reduced system cost.
