Pedagogy

Theprogrammeisuniquelydesignedtoenhancelearningbyjudiciouslymixingclassroomcontactwithpracticalaspectsthattheparticipantscanimplementattheworkplace.Thiswillenabletheparticipantstoimplementtheclassroomlearninginthefield&realisethepracticalvalue&relevanceofthelearning.

Keepinginviewtherequirementsofthetargetaudienceandgiventheobjectivesofprovidingqualityeducationanddeliveringthesameinacosteffectiveandconvenientmanner,theprogrammehasbeendividedinto10modulesthatcover the strategic aswell operational aspect of GeneralManagement. Eachmodulewill be supported by textualreadingsandcasesrelevanttotheparticipants.

Theprogrammeisspreadover9months.Theprogrammewillbedeliveredin23daysthroughsessionson2days(Fri–Sat) everymonth, on pre-announced dates. The lastmodule (5 days) of the programmewill be delivered at IIMAhmedabadCampus.

TheGMPisformanagersseekingtore-vitalisetheircareers.Itismostappropriateformanagersholdingpositionsofresponsibilitywithinfunctionaldepartmentsofmediumtolargebusinesses.Theparticipantsshouldhaveatleast5years of managerial experience after graduation.
