Natural Disasters

Economic costs of global great natural disasters (US$billion), 1950–2000In comparison

with the 1960s, economic losses during the 1990s increased by a factor of almost nine.

The costliest disaster was hurricane Katrina (2005) which cost US$ 125 Billions.
