General English This full-time 24 lessons per week course is designed for students who want to improve all areas of their general English: grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, pronunciation, reading and writing. Students study in dynamic, hard-working classes, focusing on fluency and accuracy. Students will experience different learning styles, including individual and collaborative work, and will see clear progress through correction, weekly tests and regular monthly tutorials. Students can start any Monday* from Pre Intermediate to Proficiency level. (CEFR A2 – C2) Course Content Learn real, practical English using the latest coursebooks and materials. Students learn new language every lesson and how to use it appropriately. The second lesson of the day focuses on skills, with an emphasis on developing communicative effectiveness. The third lesson provides an opportunity to further practise and review language from the morning’s lessons, incorporating project work, online research and presentations, allowing students to communicate in language appropriate to many different situations. The first lesson on a Friday morning will include a progress test and Study Skills session, which encourages students to develop independent learning skills. Students will study 9.15 -10.55 & 11.15 -12.55 every morning Monday – Friday, plus 1.55 – 3.45 on Monday & Wednesday afternoons for Beginners to Higher Intermediate levels, and 1.55 - 3.45 on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons for Higher Intermediate Plus level and above. There is a 10-minute break from 2.45 - 2.55pm.

All students have regular monthly tutorials with their teacher to discuss progress and future study. Up to 2 hours self-study will be set per night.
