t¡ln" ¿rrc to bc used.

The injectiou hosc is to bc placed finnly in thc constmction joint. securerl against clisplacc-

nrent ¿rntl floating. Thc lhstenings for the injcction hose shoulcl not be more than l5 crn apârt.

The ltose is fastcncd using the flrstcncrs rccommended by the manufacturcr. Thc injection

hose tntlst not touch the later concrctc surfbce or a recess etc. at any point. At positions wherc

injection circlcs cross! the hose should be sealed with filarnent tapc to prcvcnt interaction ofthe injcctions.

The injection resin "lntcctin Plus Injektionsharz" must be mixetl accorcling to thc manufhctur-

er's instrt¡ctions and stirred well. Watcr and other nraterials must not bc stirrcd into the mate-

rial. The injcction may be placed using an clcctric single component injcction putnp or. in the

case of srnall quantities, a nranual press. For all systenrs, the injection prcssurc nrust be con-

trolled constantly.

Thc "lntcctin Plus lnjektionsharz" is pressed into the "lntec Premium-Vcrprcssschlauch" at

rnodcratc, constant prcssure. A low conti¡ruous pressure is better than a short high prcssurc.

Thc injcction prcssurc should be increased up to I MPa in a controlled manncr. It is rccom-

tttcndcd to rcpcat thc injection once or twice cluring the processing peri<ld ol'the resin.

If'large arnounts of water enlergc frorn a construction.joint which has not yet been injected,

the flow rate of the watcr should bc takcn into considcration. Appropriatc mcasurcs should bc

taken if the "lntectirt Plus Injcktionsharz"docs not have sufTcicnt time to c urc without bcing

washecl out, c.9,. drainagc.

In the case of repeatetl use of the "lntec Premiurtr-Vcrprcssschlauclìes", the hose shoulcl trc

cmptied by pressure flushing after each injcction. Thc "lntcctin Plus Injcktionsharz" can bc

c.iccted by conrpresseil air at a rnaxirnunì prcssurc of 2 bars and thcn thc hosc flushcd with thc

spccial cleaner "lntectin-Spezialreiniger" providcd by thc rnanufhcturcr and purgcd using

comprcssed ¿rir or, altematively, imrnecliatcly flushcd at 2 bars with "lntcctin-Spezialreiniger"

and purged using com¡rrcssecl air, 'Ihc rcsistancc-ficc ball-nipples necessary lbr pressure

fìushing (not ball-nip¡lles with high opcning prcssure) rnay be obtained fionr the nranufactur-

cr. A suitable ¡rressure gauge should bc uscd to ensure that the nraxinrunr enr¡rtying pressure

of'2 bars is not exceeclecl.
