To approve order authorizing Dallas County and the Dallas County HospitalDistrict to participate in the City of Grand Prairie 1-20 Retail Tax IncrementFinance (TIF) District, beginning on January 1, 2000, by providing 11 % of anygenerated increment, up to $400,000 for each entity, for no more than twentyyears through December 31, 2019, or until the City of Grand Prairie terminatesthe TIF district, whichever comes first, authorizing the County Judge to sign therelated TIF district participation agreement, and outlining other conditions andstipulations.

To approve order approving a subcontract in an amount not to exceed $20,000with the Community Council of Greater Dallas for immunization outreach servicesrelated to the Dallas Area Infant Immunization Program for the period fromJanuary 1, 2000 through August 31, 2000, and authorizing the County Judge tosign said subcontract on behalf of Dallas County.

To approve order approving an amendment to the subcontract with The Universityof Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas for the provision of STD/HIVclinician courses for the period from April 1, 1999 through April 30, 2000, andauthorizing the County Judge to sign the amended subcontract on behalf of DallasCounty.

To approve order approving an amendment to the FY 1999-2000 Ryan WhiteTitle II contract with Johnnie's Manor to reflect a line item budget amendment inthe transportation service category, and authorizing the County Judge to sign thecontract amendment on behalf of Dallas County.

To approve order approving the Juvenile Department's request to host a two-dayworkshop entitled, "Building Skills on High Risk Families," on April 25-26, 2000,authorizing the County Auditor to establish an escrow account for acceptingregistration fees collected from the workshop, and authorizing the County Judgeto sign an agreement with Sheraton Dallas Brookhollow Hotel for the use of theirfacilities for this workshop.


27. COURT ORDER:

To approve order extending current contract (Bid No. 98-095 - Annual Contractfor Floor Covering Services) with J. W. Smith and Associates for a period not toexceed June 30, 2000, to allow ample time to revise the bid specifications, solicitand award a new contract.
