Non-violence, truthfulness, freedom from wrath, renunciation, tranquillity absence of envy, kindness to living beings, un-covetousness, gentleness, modesty, & dignity are also seen in divine persons.

Now the Lord starts talking about attributes of demonic persons: Hypocrisy, arrogance, excessive vanity, anger, harshness & ignorance, Arjuna, are some of the attributes of demonic beings.

Demonic persons do not distinguish between action & inaction. They are unclean mentally & physically, & ignorant of good behaviour. They are also not truthful.

Bound by a hundred chains of hope, given up to lust & wrath, they amass unjustly heaps of wealth to satisfy their lust

Distracted by myriad fancies, caught in a net of delusion, chasing lustful enjoyments, they (demoniacs) fall into dirty hell.

Bhagavad GitaAASUREEM YONIMAAPANNAA MOODDHAA JANMANI JANMANI, MAAMAPRAAPYAIVA KAUNTHE’YA THATHO YAANTHYADHAMAAM GATHIM. (16.20)

Born in demonic wombs repeatedly, they remain deluded, & never reach Me. Arjuna, such people, therefore proceed to an ignoble state.The Lord, here, completes the demonic attributes.

Threefold are the gates of hell, destructive of the self-LUST, WRATH & GREED. Therefore one should reject them.
