1. Two types of chemical of concerns (COCs) ; Naphthalene and Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon (TPH).
2. The source of contaminant is within the concrete rim No 1 and 2.
3. Most of the environmental media are not impacted by these COCs from the source zone except slightly higher concentrations of Naphthalene and TPH in air samples.
4. Tier 1 risk assessment has been performed using SSLs as guidance and indicated that there is no risk except in air media for naphthalene and in the surface soil inside two concrete rims of No 1 and 2.

1. Contaminant source control. A contaminated soil in concrete rims no 1 and 2 must be covered and protected from contact with water and wind.
2. Clean up the contaminated soil using soil washing technique using water jet spray with biodegradable surfactant or detergent.
3. Cover the site with a layer of silt/clay and grow small plants and grass to prevent infiltration of water and contact with air after the completion of soil remediation.
