What Is A Gear?

A gear is a toothed wheel. The gears' teeth connect with another gears

and turns.

What Is a Pulley?

A pulley is a mechanical device that uses a wheel with a groove to turn and pull a load.

What's a Fixed and Movable Pulley?

Fixed- A pulley that is in a certain position above a load to be lifted.

Movable- A pulley that is attached to a load that is being lifted.

Compound- Two or more pulleys working together.

What Is a Spur Gear?

A spur gear is the most common type of gear.

They have straight teeth and are on parallel shafts.

What Is a Simple Machine?
