There are several DWR’s avail-able and their effective durability is reflected in their price. Because our gear is made for paddling, Our DWR is the toughest available.

3. eXhaust MEMBRANEThis Layer provides the systems waterproofness and breathability. The eXhaust membrane is a ultra thin layer that has micro pores small enough to prevent water from penetrating but large enough to allow body vapor (sweat) to escape. TECHNICAL guide

Hydro-Shield is a nano treatment done during the yarn spinning

process to infuse the yarn before it is woven with a highly water resistant finish which does not

affect the overall breathability of the finished fabric.

UPF stands for “ultraviolet protection factor”. Our UPF

35+/50+ rating means that no more than 1/35th or 1/50th of the sun’s UVA and UVB rays

pass through the fabric.
