How is the course assessed?

• Grades awarded on GCSE scale (A* to G)

• Controlled Assessment 1 (30%): Practical Investigation• Controlled Assessment 2 (30%): Programming Project

• 1hr30 Written Examination (40%): A mixture of short and long answer questions, some of which will require candidates to write program code.

What will we actually do?• Learn the basics of computer programming by making

computer games with Scratch
