Letter from Matt Wallace Thank you for taking time to learn more about your Global Business Solutions department located at Corporate Headquarters in Vernon, CA.

In these times of unsettling economic conditions, leveraging technology in order to bolster up our company in these arduous conditions has now become “the wisdom”. Inasmuch as we are expected to be somewhat all-knowing about our elaborate business, the requirement on our technology people for exceptional business prowess is at unprecedented levels. Couple this with our company’s financial constraints which we all must work within and, we are compelled to respond to the many and varied demands of our business customers with ingenuity and imagination. Frankly, we are not in an organization where solutions are simply funded and, irrespective of these challenges, we must still deliver results. We must still drive this business forward!

Our Departments Defined

ENTERPRISE RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

The Enterprise Relationship Management group functions as the primary liaison between the business and IT communities and aligns the demands of those groups. Additionally, the group manages projects for the business as a whole.

This group ensures that the right technologies are being brought to bear, and also ensures that everyone reads from the same script when it comes to the company's core information and that no one takes any liberties with that data. Their focus is on internal projects and the need to address appropriately the work at hand. To fulfill this role, the incumbent must possess a combination of strong technology skills and business acumen.

Enterprise Relationship Management comprises 3 major teams: Relationship Management Project Management Business Intelligence

BUSINESS SOLUTIONS DEVELOPMENT

Business Solutions Development Designs, Builds and Supports all of BCBG’s Business Systems. These are the Technologists of BCBG and manage very complex environments such as SAP, Oracle and ACS.

Along with having an extraordinary technology background, they have a solid foundation in business. This team ensures the Deliverable meets the Requirement. Amongst their variety of responsibilities, they support all of the Integration points in the company. Collectively, they partner with Enterprise Relationship Management to deploy the best possible solutions for BCBG.

MAXRAVE BUSINESS SOLUTIONS

MaxRave Business Solutions holistically manages the Business Systems for our MaxRave Company. They not only handle all the Systems Development needs for MaxRave but also, all the I.T. Operations for this very important Retail Chain.

With nearly 25 years of tenure, this team brings a deeply rooted understanding of the business of MaxRave. They have complete knowledge of MaxRave’s systems and have been instrumental in integrating these systems with BCBG’s. Unquestionably, they are a critical part of Global Business Solutions and an essential member of the MaxRave business.

Our Management Team

Matt Wallace Vice-President, Global Business Solutions

Matt is accountable for all the teams developing and managing all of the Business Systems at BCBG.

He has over 20 years in Information Technology Management for Retail, Wholesale, Distribution, Direct Marketing and Apparel including 12 years at Office Depot. His diverse background includes Business Systems Development, Project Management, International Business Practices, Infrastructure Operations, Outsourcing, Contract Administration, Data Center Management and Global Implementations. Under his leadership, technology solutions have been deployed all over the world with multi-million dollar impacts on both the top and bottom lines for various companies.

Matt holds a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.S. in Anthropology from the University of Maryland.

Matt lives in Redondo Beach with his wife and two sons, Austin and Taylor. He coaches Little League Baseball and Soccer as well as announces many of the games. He is, also, a professionally trained songwriter.

Don Stephens Director, Enterprise Relationship Management

Don’s group functions as the primary liaison between the Business and I.T. communities and aligns the demands of those groups. Additionally, his team manages projects for the business as a whole.

He is a Project Management Professional and he has worked in I.T. for twenty years. He worked for several years in Finance before transitioning to I.T. He has extensive experience in Retail Store Operations, Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain and E-Commerce from his previous positions at OfficeMax and Bass Pro Shops.

He has a Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with triple majors in Computer Information Systems, Finance and Management.

Don and his wife have two Weimaraner dogs, and his interests include tennis, golf, bicycling, reading, photography, Formula One racing, driving and motorcycle riding.

Kiyomi Chansamone Director, Business Solutions Development

Kiyomi is responsible for all of the Systems Development at BCBG. This includes Finance, Product Development, Production, Supply Chain, Distribution, Sales and Retail.

She has 17 years experience in the Apparel and Software Industries. For 6 years, she worked for Apparel organizations in the Design, Pre-Production and Production areas. Another 6 years at an Apparel Software company and 5 years consulting for companies within the Apparel Industry and in the IT department of apparel companies.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Information Systems from University of Southern California.

Kiyomi enjoys spending time with her family, especially, her 3 year old active and curious boy.

Sam Busceti Director, MaxRave Business Solutions

Sam is accountable for the Management and Development of our MaxRave Business Systems including all Development and Operational activities.

He has been Information Technology for nearly 35 years in various capacities including Director, Project Management and Consulting opportunities. His extensive Retail industry tenure includes stints at Herman’s World Sporting Goods, Alexander’s and G&G Shops. He has consulted for I.T. in Accounting, Retail, Inventory, Billing, Human Resources and Recruiting systems.

Sam has an Associates degree in Computer Information Systems.

Rick Ito Senior Manager, Relationship Management (Retail)

Rick manages the Relationship Management team accountable for all the I.T. activities related to our Retail businesses.

His extensive experience in Information Technology includes stints in the Retail, Home Improvement and Apparel industries. This includes several years in various management positions at Hot Topic.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in both Accounting and Management Information Systems.

In his private life, Rick enjoys playing Hockey as well as Rain Dancing.

Danny Martinez Manager, Business Intelligence

Danny is responsible for the creation, design, development and implementation of Policies and Procedures designed to improve Supply Chain Performance. In addition, he manages the development of Reports, Scorecards and Data to be used to analyze and improve the company’s business results.

He has over 22 years Supply Chain Management experience bringing business improvement to companies such as Black and Decker, Heinz Corporation and GE.

Danny has a Bachelors of Science in Business Management with an option in Finance from California State University, Los Angeles. Also, he is Sig Sigma – Green Belt certified.

In his personal time, he enjoys Racquetball, Basketball, Baseball and Bowling. He is, also, an assistant coach for his son’s baseball, basketball and soccer teams. He loves playing video games on line with friends and family from all around the globe…from California to New York and even India!

Paul Yung Manager, IBM Development

Paul manages the team responsible for delivering and maintaining the Enterprise and Distribution business systems developed on IBM i-Series technology. He, also, provides supplemental technical support for the Distribution Systems.

He has over 25 years in Information Technology in Retail, Distribution and Manufacturing. His extensive experience in I.T. includes software design and development, infrastructure and project management.

He attended the California State University in Los Angeles.

Paul is married with 2 children and enjoys basketball, racquetball and gardening.

Terry Lugay Manager, SAP Development

Terry is responsible for all Technical Development of BCBG’s SAP Technology including Enterprise Resource Planning, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence.

She has spent her entire career in the Apparel and Footwear business in both Information Technology and Business positions. As an example, she has been an Apparel Production Manager for a multi-billion dollar manufacturer.

She holds Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Psychology.

On a personal note, she enjoys reading and belly dancing.

Michael McCleaf Manager, Microsoft Development

Mike manages the Microsoft Software Development group which develops and maintains the Business Systems developed on Microsoft’s various technologies.

He is a Retail Professional with more than 15 years in I.T. in Finance, Payroll, Merchandising, Business Intelligence, Tax, Distribution and E-commerce. He has been in various I.T. roles over time including both Management and Technical responsibilities.

He attended West Virginia University majoring in Sociology and Anthropology as well as New York University where he received his Certification in Object Oriented Programming.

Mike is fascinated with Egyptian history and mythologies and travels there, whenever possible, to climb through ruins and dance on pyramids. He, also, enjoys River Dancing.

Renee Tracy Manager, Integration Management

Renee manages the team accountable for Integration Management and EDI. Her responsibilities include oversight and standards for all System Integration activities at BCBG.

She has an extensive I.T. and Business background in a variety of industries. In the Apparel industry, she has worked at Hobie Apparel, 1928 Jewelry Company and Body Glove in both I.T. and Business management positions. In addition, she held I.T. management positions at Burbank Water and Power and Panavision.

She holds a Bachelors of Arts from Cal State Northridge in Business with an option in Systems Analysis. Also, she holds an Associates of Arts from FIDM in Los Angeles.

Renee enjoys traveling, wine tasting and hula dancing. As well, she loves to cook and participates in the Daring Bakers Challenge which is a monthly baking competition.

Sal Macaraig Manager, Finance Systems Management

Sal oversees the systems support for BCBG’s Finance Systems which include Oracle JDEdwards EnterpriseOne, SAP BusinessObjects and all related Finance department systems.

He is a seasoned I.T. professional with over 10 years experience, specifically, implementing, developing and supporting the JDEdwards business application suite with focus on Financials.

In college, he majored in Computer Science and minored in Mathematics.

Sal enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with his family.

John Ryba Manager, MaxRave I.T. Operations

John manages all of the I.T. Operations for our MaxRave business including all the processing as well as technical support for the legacy MaxRave business systems.

He has in excess of 30 years experience in Information Technology in the Retail and Distribution industries. He has been a member of the BCBG family for over 15 years.

He attended Community College outside of New York City.

On a personal note, John has 5 grandchildren and is an avid fan of NASCAR.

Brett Briskin Sr. Project Manager

Brett is responsible for leading medium to large Business Initiatives for BCBG. Currently, his focus has been on implementing SAP Retail and Business Intelligence software suites. He has over 20 years of IT experience, including 10 years in retail and has worked for Disney, Big 5 Sporting Goods and Paramount Pictures. He has extensive program and project management experience and has a broad background managing Merchandise Systems, Store Systems, Business Intelligence, CRM and Supply Chain applications. Brett received a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Michigan. He enjoys tennis, roller-blading at the beach, swimming with his three children and reading mystery and science fiction, along with impromptu singing and tap dancing.

Lucia Gomez Sr. Project Manager

Lucia manages medium to large Business Initiatives for BCBG. Historically, her emphasis has been enterprise Finance efforts and, currently, leads the company-wide endeavour to implement the Kronos timekeeping system. She has 10 years experience spanning over External and Internal Audit, Business Process Re-engineering and Risk Consulting specializing in Information Security across a variety of industries. Her career in professional services and here at BCBG has afforded her the opportunity to manage numerous projects ranging from system to regulatory process implementations. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting with a Minor in Economics from the University of San Francisco. She enjoys volunteering as a mentor to college-bound Los Angeles high school students.

Glendy Rodriguez Executive Assistant/Systems Analyst (EDI)

As Executive Assistant to the Vice-President of Global Business Solutions, Glendy’s accountabilities include all the Office Management, Payroll and Invoice Management. Additionally as a Systems Analyst, she supports the EDI system, administrates ACS and manages EDI projects.

She has been in the Apparel Industry for 12 years in both I.T. and Business functions for such companies as Wet Seal, Ken Abbott, Aziz Cotton Emporium, Doki-Geki, Three Dots and Chambers Belt. She has worked in Information Technology, Sales, Production, Retail Buying and Licensing (where she managed the accessories license for Tommy Bahama).

She holds Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Glendy enjoys participating in her son’s sports, salsa dancing, watching sports, outdoor events/concerts and barbequing with her family and friends.

Our Process

Projects vs. Tasks In Global Business Solutions, a Project is defined as any Request

that requires more than $20,000 or 200 I.T. Man Hours.

If a Request has been classified a Project, a Project Manager will be

assigned and the Initiative will follow the typical Project process:

Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control and Closure

If a Request has been classified a Task, your Relationship Manager

will own the Task and the Effort will follow our Development process

called Waterfall:

Initiation, Design, Development, QA/UAT, Implementation, Completion

In project management, a project consists of a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service or result. {The Project Management Institute}
