    The area Lagaccio

The Genova’s Lagaccio district is a

    central and densely populated

    district characterised by

    disorganised post-war urbanisation

    mainly formed by residential

    multi-storey buildings and derelict

    sites.

The municipal urban plan identifies the area as a transformation district, recognizing its strategic importance for the city.

The plan provides for the reduction of waterproof spaces and requires the planting of trees.

The creation of green spaces must contribute to the ecological connections of the sitealso through the widening of the bands vegetate on the east and west sides of the area.
