MEMORY VERSE WHAT TO DO:

• Read through the memory verse several times and begin to work on memorizingit. Talk about what it means to “put on” God’s armor. Do you think it issomething you really wear?

• A piece of the armor – the sword of the Spirit – is actually the Bible, God’s Word. When we remember what the Bible says, we can use it as a weapon against theenemy’s lies and tricks.

SHIELD OF ARMOR• If you were able to come to the Harborside Kids Drive-Thru,

you received a shield to use during the series. You willbegin adding specific drawings to your shield next week, but for now, divide your shield into six sections and add yourname. In next week’s lesson you will learn about a piece ofarmor to add to your shield.

• You can also make your own shield using the sample or youcan print one from the resource online by clicking HERE.

PRAY • Pray together as a family. Have a place to write down prayer requests that are

shared and answered prayers, too.• Pray that you would begin to remember to put on God’s armor every day, and to

rely on God’s power and stand strong against any evil that comes your way.

WORSHIP • Check out the Worship at Home playlist on our page to choose some songs to

sing together.
