Canyoubelieveit...2018issooncomingtoanend!ThiswasmyfirstyearasthepresidentoftheGatewayHarmonicaClubandIappreciatethefactthatyouhavegivenmethehonortoservesuchagreatorganization.But,asweallknow,servingtheGHCiscertainlynotaone-manshow:manythanksgoouttoalloftheofficers,volunteers,committeechairpersonsandgigparticipants.

2018wasayearofmanyaccomplishments:byyear-endwewillhaveentertainedaudiencesat57engagements,heldfivethree-nightbeginningharmonicaclassesatcommunitycolleges,playedforOzzyOsbourne(forwhichwehadtolearnsomeofhissongs),heldaterrificpicnic,hostedandplayedatoneofthebestandlargestSPAHannualconventions,madetwotripstoColumbia,MOforgigs,providedthefeaturemusicforawedding(morenewsongs)andconcluded the yearwith aChristmasparty.And, throughout the yearwepracticed almosteveryTuesdaynight,plussomeextrapractices,andenjoyedourOpenMicsessions. It’salmostexhaustingjustthinkingofallthatweaccomplishedandnoneofitwouldhavebeenpossiblewithoutallofyourtimeandhelp.

Justareminderthat2019duesaredue,wehaveourannualChristmaspartyonDecember4 (apotluckdinner) andwewill haveseveral gigs inDecember (please refer to theGHCcalendaronthewebsite).
