The gas / air mixture in the fluid bedis regulated to achieve completegas combustion and close temper-ature control. The destruction ofthe organic materials released fromthe sand, is completed in the uppercombustion chamber. The gasesare retained here long enough forthis to be achieved.

Le mélange correct d'air et de gazdans le lit fluidisé de calcinationproduit une combustion uniformeet permet de contrôler au mieux latempérature. Les composants or-ganiques éliminés du sable com-plètent leur combustion dans lachambre supérieure où les fuméessont retenues juste le temps né-cessaire pour atteindre ce résultat.

The plant is designed to conformwith the current safety standardsand consists of magnetic valves,manual valves, pressure reducersand flow meters.The modulating gas supply valve,ensures that the gas supply variesas a function of the sand temper-ature.

Conçue selon les normes de sécu-rité courantes, cette installationcomprend des électrovannes, desvannes manuelles, des réducteursde pression ainsi que des mesu-reurs de débit. La vanne progressive est un élé-ment essentiel qui assure l'alimen-tation optimale du gaz selon latempérature du sable.

Aufgrund der bestehenden Si-cherheitsnormen gebaut, unter Ein-satz von Magnetventilen, Hand-ventilen, Druckreduzierung Durch-flussmessern.Von äusserster Wichtigkeit ist dasModulier-Ventil, welches eine op-timale Gasversorgung in Abhän-gigkeit von der Sandtemperaturermöglicht.

The combustion fumes and thedust pass through a sleeve filterwhich retains the solids. Beforereaching the filter, the mixture pass-es through a cyclone separator toremove the larger particles. Theextraction plant is sized so that thefume/dust stream is cool enoughfor filtration, when it reaches the fil-ter elements.

Les fumées de la combustion mé-langées aux poussières aspiréesdans le refroidisseur aboutissent àun filtre à manches qui se chargede l'abattage de fines et de pous-sières. Le système d'aspiration estdimensionné afin que ces fumées,après être passées à travers le cy-clone, aboutissent au filtre à unetempérature de travail appropriéeaux éléments filtrants.

Die Abgase der Verbrennung, zu-sammen mit dem abgesaugtenStaub von Kühler, gelangen in enenSchlauchfilter, welcher Feinanteileund Staub aussondert. Die Absau-gung ist so dimensioniert, dass die-se Abgase nach dem Durchgangdurch einen Zyklon in einer denFilter-schläuchen angepassten Tem-peratur dort eintrifft.

The temperature signals from thefluid bed, provide feed-back to aPID “controller”. This causes thegas supply valve to be modulatedaccordingly.Other thermocouples give feed-back to control the sand supplyrate and others to control the com-bustion fumes temperature.The whole process is PLC operated.

La signalisation de la températureprovenant du lit fluidisé aboutit àun "contrôleur" PID qui règle lavanne de modulation du gaz. D'autres thermocouples comman-dent l'alimentation du sable tandisque d'autres encore se chargentde contrôler la température desfumées brûlées. Ce processus est entièrement sur-veillé et géré par un PLC.

Die Temperatursignale, welche vomFliessbett eintreffen, erreichen einePID-Steuerung, welche ihrerseitsdas Gas-Modulationsventil steuert.Andere Thermokuppler für dieSandversorgung und weitere Ele-mente überwachen die Temperaturder Abgase.Der gesamte Prozess wird voll-ständig angezeigt und gesteuertvon einer SPS-Steuerung.

EXTRACTION

The reclaimed sand has a temper-ature of around 600° to 700°C.following firing. It is thereforepassed through a fluid bed coolerfitted with a water cooling coil.This removes the excess heat andthe sand leaves the cooler at theright temperature for immediateuse in making new moulds andcores.

Le sable à haute température(600°-700° C) entre dans le lit flui-disé de refroidissement où un ser-pentin avec circulation d'eau le li-bère des calories. En sortie, la tem-pérature du sable est appropriée àson utilisation immédiate pour laréalisation de mottes ou de noyaux.

Der Sand tritt mit hoher Tempera-tur (600°-700°C) ins Kühlungs-Fliessbett ein, wo wassergekühlteKühlschlangen die Wärme ablei-ten, sodass der Sand beim Auslau-fen aus diesem Fliessbett sofortwieder eingesetzt werden kann,zur Herstellung von Formen oderKernen.
