OUR YILGARN MINE SITE IS LOCATED 100KM NORTH EAST OF SOUTHERN CROSS

In FY 2015-16 MRL’s Yilgarn iron ore mining generated annual payments to the WA Government of $66.9 million including:

Grand total 66.9m

The life of mine extension project will therefore deliver over $1 billion to the Government and Communities of WA over the life of the new mines.

MRL's plans to extend the life of its Carina mining hub by using it to process and load iron ore from the proposed new mines are consistent with the wise use of existing State-owned infrastructure which achieves commercial advantages to the region, to our State and our Ports in particular.

We need the Government to elevate and accelerate approvals for this key project to protect jobs.
