“GIVE PRAISE TO OUR GOD”

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual bless-

ing in the heavenly places in Christ” (Eph. 1:3). Have you ever wondered what all those blessings are? Contex-tually speaking it means that I am HOLY, and Blameless, Adopted, Loved by God, Chosen and Forgiven. If that were all, it would be enough for me. However, it is not, there is much more. We can’t begin to fathom all of the spiritual blessings we have “in Christ.”

Here is a list of blessings someone else has discovered. In Christ we have…

A love that can never be fathomed.

A righteousness that can never be tarnished.

A rest that can never be disturbed.

A glory that can never be clouded.

A purity that can never be dulled.

A Wisdom that can never be baffled.

A life that can never die.

A joy that can never be diminished.

A light that can never be darkened.

Resources that can never be exhausted.

I want to encourage you to spend some time this week thanking God for all of the blessings He has lavished up-on us in Christ. We are truly a blessed people.

Billie Lunday...She’s in the hospital with pneumonia in her transplanted lung. Glenda Sweetwood...She tested positive for covid and is temporarily isolated in Room 511. Thankfully, she is not show-ing symptoms.

Calvina Osburn…She will get a back injection on Tuesday. Garry Osburn...His heart is functioning at 40%. Please pray for better function so he can have other procedures. Carol Staton & Family………….Carol’s mom passed away. Patsy Gritz.……….….…She had knee surgery last Monday.
