Juwi- OVEWRVIEWTrack Recordjuwi was founded in 1996 when it developed its first wind turbine projects in Germany. In 1999 juwi entered the photovoltaic market and then in 2001, the bioenergy market. The company started it’s international activities in 2000 with wind turbine and solar power projects in France and the Americas and expanded into the Southern and Eastern European markets. In 2009, juwifurther expanded into geothermal energy, hydropower and e-mobility. By 2010 juwi had also added the South African, Indian, Chilean and British Markets and created a new division specializing in “Green Buildings”. In 2011 juwi started business activities in Asia.
Wind Energyjuwi has planned and constructed wind turbines in approximately 100 locations worldwide. By the end of 2015, it will have developed wind energy projects all over the world with a total capacity of more than 3,500 MW.
Solar Energyjuwi plans, constructs and operates rooftop and free-field solar power systems in every size, worldwide. It plans to construct systems with a total output of more than 3,000 MW by 2015.
