Conor Lovett Vladimir

Conor trained at École Jacques Lecoq in Paris.His work with Gare St Lazare Players Ireland on Samuel Beckett has earned him a reputation as one of the world’s great Beckett actors. In all he has performed 17 Beckett roles in 23 different Beckett productions internationally, and has performed Beckett in over 17 countries worldwide. In the USA Conor has played at the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts (Bard College), Steppenwolf (Chicago), the Irish Arts Centre (New York), UCLA Live (Los Angeles), the International Festival of Arts & Ideas (New Haven), the Public Theater (New York) and Rubicon Theatre, Ventura. He played the role of Lucky in the 2003 revival of the Gate Theatre’s production of Waiting For Godot, directed by Walter Asmus, and played in What Where and Acts Without Words 1 & 2 at the Barbican in London during the Gate’s London Beckett Festival in 1999.

In 2004 Walter Asmus directed Conor in A Piece of Monologue as part of Rubicon Theatre’s West Coast Beckett Fest. In 2005 he performed with Fabuloust Beast Dance Theatre Company in their production of The Bull at Dublin Theatre Festival. In 2007 he played David in Leaves by Lucy Caldwell, a co-production with Druid/Royal Court, directed by Garry Hynes. Conor was nominated for the Judges Special Award in 2009 for his Beckett performances and was a Best Actor nominee for Moby Dick at the Irish Theatre Awards 2010.

For the screen Conor co-produced and starred in Shut Eye, directed by Jon Tompkins. Other screen appearances include Father Ted, Intermission, Moll Flanders, L’Entente Cordiale, The Kings of Cork City, Small Engine Repair and Fallout. Conor is joint artistic director of Gare St Lazare Players Ireland with Judy Hegarty Lovett.

Gavan O’HerlihyPozzo

 Gavan was born in Dublin, but his extensive screen and theatre career has been spent on both sides of the Atlantic.Early television work includes series such as Happy Days, miniseries such as We’ll Meet Again and Lonesome Dove and guest leading roles on innumerable series, such as China Beach, Red King White Knight, Tales of the Crypt, Tailspin, Twin Peaks, Rumour of War, Conagher, Sherlock Holmes, Star Trek: Voyager, The Last, Sharpes Eagle, Jonathan Creek, The Cruise  and more recentlyMidsomer Murders. Gavin’s extensive film work includes features such as Willow, Return of the Dirty Dozen, Superman 3, Never Say Never Again, Death Wish 3, and more recently Descent 2.

Theatre work includes The Life and Death of a Buffalo Soldier (Bristol Old Vic), Macbeth, The Shadow of a Gunman, Deirdre of the Sorrow (Abbey Theatre), Othello (Pilgrimage Theatre LA), Titus Andronicus (Great Lakes Shakespeare), Henry IV Part I andComedy Of Errors (Group USA) and 10 Days That Shook the World (Freud Playhouse USA). Gavin is delighted to be returning to the Dublin stage.
