Fabrics C and D:Subcut twelve 10” squares into forty-eight 5“ squares

Fabric H: Subcut sixteen 10” squares into sixty-one 5“ squares
Making the QuiltNote: The most straightforward way to piece the quilt top is to piece the squares by sections. Refer to the Quilt Top Construction Chart on p. 4 to construct pieced sections.
1. Lay out the following squares as shown to make Section 1. Sew the squares into rows and join the rows. square to 45-1/2”. Make two of Section 1.

5. Noting orientation, sew a vertical center row A between a Section 1 unit and a Section 2 unit to assemble the top half of the quilt. In the same way, create the bottom section of the quilt, noting orientation.
6. Sew the two horizontal center B rows to the remaining H square. Sew the top and bottom halves of the quilt to the full center row.
FinishingLay the backing right side down, batting, and quilt top right side up. Baste the layers together and quilt as desired. Use the ten 2-1/4” x 42” Fabric I strips to bind the quilt.
