Gangs and Crime Research Project

A group of people who, through the organization, formation, and establishment of an assemblage, share a common identity.

Gangs are neither just a big city or inner city problem, nor are they a problem of a particular race or culture.

They bring fear and violence to neighborhoods, traffic in drugs, destroy property, involve youth in crimes and drive out businesses.

What are gangs?

Why People Joins Gangs?

There are a four stages to the problem-solving for crimes.

They are scanning, analysis, response, and assessment.

For short they call it SARA.

Stay CalmCall police immediatelyAlways report a crime. If you don’t report it

to the police they won’t be able to help. Someone else may become a victim.

Tell the police who you are, were you are, and what happened.

happened.
