M/S. GANGA ENGINEERING WORKS is a proprietor concern established by Late.V.P.Ganga Swamy Naidu in the

year 1978 to manufacture and marketing of water lifting pumps for various types of water supplies in Agricultural,

Domestic and Industrial applications. 'GEW' develop infrastructure and engineering capabilities to meet the needs of

pumps manufacturing as well as along with Textile Spares 'GEW' pump sets are engineered as per ISI standards to

ensure long life and value for money.

In 1978 the 'GEW' unit was originally set up at Avarampalayam, 5km distance from Coimbatore railway station, Tamil

Nadu, India at its own premises. This consisting all manufacturing base with quality testing facilities as per Bureau of

Indian Standards. In the beginning, only Textile machine spares were produced and in the year 1986 Single and Three

phase pumpsets were engineered to deliver superiority of Performance and Technological excellence, developed

meticulously through decades of experience. Our strong skilled work force proves the quality and performance of our

products.

Later on Shri, Dhanabal. G has entered with diverse knowledge and introduced a lot of new system to suit for

customer needs. Dynamic balancing are some of the processes which enables us to build product reliablility during the

manufacturing stage itself. Under the new and dynamic management of 'GEW' it has leads to expertise in De-Watering

Pumps, Sludge Pumps, Sewage Pumps and all types of Submersible Pumps for the past one decade.

?This pump is suitable for dewatering, sewerage, drainage and fuel transaction. The suction and discharge is 150 mm x 150 mm with closed type impeller with mechanical seal. (Open type impeller also available). Priming Tank is made of Aluminium and the internal parts are of Teflon, Aluminium and Bronze which increase the life and efficiency of the pump. Discharge Heat & Tee Piece are made by Cast Iron; this reduces the risk of leakage and increase the life. Volute and Discharge Head are made by Cast Iron and it is designed in such a way that the shape of both helps to give a better discharge. Shaft & Impeller are made by 316 Stainless Steel. We are manufacturing pumps as per the demand of the custome requirement like open impeller pumps, Electric motor driven pumps with pneumatic 2 wheels on the road type and also available solid tyre 4 wheel trolley.

?This pump is suitable for dewatering, sewerage, drainage pumping irrigation and chiller plants. The suction and discharge is 250 mm x 200 mm with closed type impeller with mechanical seal. (Open type impeller also available). Priming Tank is made of Aluminium and the internal parts are of Teflon, Aluminium and Bronze which increase the life and efficiency of the pump. Discharge Heat & Tee Piece are made of Mild Steel. Volute is Cast Iron and it is designed in such a way that the shape helps to give better discharge. Shaft, Impeller, Stuffing box and all other internal parts are made of Stainless Steel. Electric Motor driven pumps with 4 wheel trolley type and also available 8” booster.

Used for water supply o Residential Bungalows Bungalows and Flats. GEW HSM & HCM

models of self priming and monoblock pumps employ a 240 volts, 50 Hz capacitor start and

run, 2880 RPM, TEFC, Prime mover motors of ingle phae. All pumps are tested as per IS :

8472 HCM & HSM motor bodies are made from cost iron, Dynamic balancing of rotor

assembly, ensures better life for bearings and seals. Pump is made up of close grained cast

iron casting and Brass forged impeller. The volute is designed for maximum output. The front

end bearing is protected by a water thrower ring. Sealing is by means of a bellows

mechanical seal fitted over the shaft which is ground to close tolerances.
