SCHEDULE

1. Welcome Breakfast

2. Implementation of the 4th AML Directive (4AMLD) into national laws in Germany and Malta

Each EU jurisdiction is considering how to meet the 4AMLD requirements. Implemen-tation is required by 26 June 2017. We will look at Malta and Germany and the way the 4AMLD requirements for gambling were interpreted in these jurisdictions more closely and will then compare the key changes impacting on the gaming industry and challenges arising for operators in this context.

3. What about payments?

One of the key aspects and still subject to some unanswered questions in the context of AML compliance is which payment methods will be considered compliant and what requirements will have to be met by gaming operators in general in relation to pay-ments. We will shed light on the current discussions and will provide an overview of the challenges ahead.

4. Regulatory Update

The recent amendments to the Interstate Treaty agreed by the German states end of last year created quite a stir within the gaming industry – but just what exactly has actually changed and, more importantly, what can be expected going forward? The final part of our Breakfast Briefing will provide an overview and update in this regard.

5. Time for Q&As and networking
