What is Idiom?
“Idiom” is a Galileo Desktop add-on solution that allows you to display, edit and print customer itineraries. Through the use of a simple, user-friendly interface, travel consultants have access to 3 itinerary styles (Condensed, Leisure & Professional) that may be individually customized and/or supplemented with header-, footer- and remarks information to suit the corporate identity and business needs. All itinerary styles are available in 4 different languages (German, French, Italian and English).
“Idiom” includes the following itinerary information:
Flight / Ground / Journey times
Aircraft types
Frequent flyer details
In-Flight services
Terminal details
Seating request details
Special service request
Car vendor address / Phone information
Hotel address / Phone information
Associated / Unassociated remarks
Vendor record locators and Galileo booking reference details
NOTE: These features are depending on the chosen itinerary style.
“Idiom” allows generating the customer itinerary in a few easy steps. The interface is very intuitive. It is remembering your preferred itinerary style, your preferred language and your agent name. This makes the creation of itineraries the easiest ever been.
NOTE: “Idiom” works also with an “unfinished” Booking File (e.g. only Flight Segments, only Car Segments or only Hotel Segments). This can be extremely useful when you want to make a quick offer by mail to your customer!
