Our fundraising event of the year is near! Join us to celebrate the impact Habitat has made around the world.

Help us build strength, stability, self-reliance through shelter for years to come.

Since 1976, Habitat has helped more than 29million people build or improve the place theycall home.

In one year alone (FY19), Habitat helped more

than 7 million people build or improve the placethey call home.

More than 1.4 million volunteers helped build,advocate and raise awareness about the global

need for shelter.

Our Impact

Event details

In 2018, our Hand up for Habitat Gala Dinner raised $176,000 and was attended by 250 guestsincluding former volunteers and corporate supporters from organisations in the property,

construction, finance and legal sectors.

Our corporate guests and sponsors on the night included Boral, ANSA Homes, Mirvac, Boston

Scientific, Arup, Delta Air Lines and Vietnam Airlines. We also had more than 50 retailers and

hospitality groups donate products towards our silent and live auction.

We invite you to sponsor our Impact 2020 event to support our cause and showcase your brand

to our attendees. The event offers a unique opportunity to raise the profile and Corporate Social

Responsibility credentials of your organisation while helping us to build more homes for

vulnerable families.

Sharn Coombs confirmed At just 23 Sharn became one of the youngestBarristers in Victoria, and was appointed aCrown Prosecutor at age 38. She has appearedon Australian Survivor twice, placing runner-upoverall breaking a number of Survivor recordsalong the way, and more recently as a Survivor‘All-Star’. Her most recent challenge is as avolunteer on Habitat’s Impact Build, travellingto Nepal in March to build homes for women andtheir families over International Women’s Day.
