ObituaryBernice E. Johnson affectionately known as “GaGa” was born July 15, 1922 in Jacksonville, FL to Jeff and Florence Ladson. She was one of 8 siblings. She was a graduate of the 1940 class of Stanton High School and later attended Jones College. She gave her life to Christ at a very early age at St. Stephens A.M.E.A.M.E. Church. She later joined Mt. Araraat Baptist Church where she served faithfully on the usher board until she moved her membership to Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. There, she was an active member of the deaconess board for many years until her passing. She was also a long time member oof the Live Long and Like It Club.

She was greatly blessed with 3 wonderful children: Walter Johnson, Sr. (Josephine); Florence Brannon (Hubert, Sr.), and Shelia Jones.

Grandchildren: Walter Johnson, Jr. (Kori); Farris Long, II (Teshia); Nakia Gaines (Eric); Hubert Brannon, Jr. (Charlette); Lashonda Yvette Merritt (Anthony); Tyrone Duncan (Shanetta); and Latonza Brannon.

SShe had 25 great grandchildren. among them: Jaylen, Jason, Kharyel, Je'Khary, Lindsay, Walter III and 15 great great grandchildren. Long time trusted Friend and neighbor regina hilton (richard sr)
